Offensively, balanced setup, starts up in the box, long stride, hands load back smoothly, good balance. Gap-to-gap type hitter, barrel works slightly uphill through the zone, uses strength in upper body well to drive the ball. Defensively, arm works well from the outfield, held runners from taking extra bases.
At 6-foot, 165-pounds Kennedy has a strong athletic build and showed strong measurables during the "Scout Day". Running a 7.0 flat 60 yard dash with strong easy strides. Kennedy's arm strength also stood out at two positions OF (86 mph) and catcher (75 mph). On top of these skills Kennedy showed he is a strong also posting and event best 89 mph exit velocity. Very strong ingredients for this next level talent.
