6-00/170 and could easily end up the most physical catcher in the 2027 Hawaii class. Tavares possesses advanced natural strength for a 15 year old with an present defensive and offensive skillset that project as plus defense and plus raw power. Love the arm action, throws easy and on-target. Defense comes easier for Tavares but his bat has really improved in the last year and offensively Tavares could develop into a plus value guy not just defensively, but offensively as well. The University of Hawaii commit is one who could make a big jump in 2025.
