Trenton Caliboso, Maryknoll (HI), 2027 Positional Profile: SS/2B switch-hitting 2027 SS with lots to like on both sides of the ball and possesses the ingredients and upside of a future DI player Body: 5-2, 109-pounds. Hit: SH. looks like a hitter both sides, arguably took a better BP left side with more power right side, got some feel, profiles as 2-hole guy Power: 89 max exit velocity, averaged 82.3 mph. 331' max distance. got some sneaky pop, ends up as 2B's guy Arm: RH. INF-79 mph. arm is one of his strongest tools, very good arm action, quick/loose arm, multiple slots guy, ends up with enough arm for SS Defense: athletic and able to play all three INF positions in the end, SS could end up being his future but chance for plus field at 2B, UTL guy with versatility value ATH: 7.19 runner in the 60. runs well, still able to improve speed with strength gains, run will be a big part of game on both sides of ball Vizual Edge: 61.61 Edge Score

5-06/140...love this kid...can hit, pick it, throw and run w/+IQ & +instincts...might be my favorite Hawaii high school player...first met him at a UH camp in 2021, took best BP & infield as one of the youngest/smallest players in camp...event & moment wasn't close to too big for him, really impressed with confidence & presence (and Magic Johnson smile)...every tool plays up due to IQ, feel for game & instincts, add strength & likely ends much better a player than many would guess...2-hole profile, contact/line-drive guy, tough out who can bunt-'um-over/get-'um-over...defensively best suited at 2B but wouldn't bet against him that he can play SS for a DI as likely ends up with enough arm for SS...feel IQ & raw speed equates to +value on bases & +SB threat...reminds me of SS David Bacani who was drafted out of CS Fullerton in 2001 (NYM)...Hawaii #7 ranked 2027...solid DI recruit.
