8/5/18- 6-foot, 190-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. #75 player in current IA 2019 rankings. On mound; higher crouched balance point with turn, hides baseball, compact arm action, lands inline, shows extension and finish to plate. Fastball was 79-83 mph with late tailing action away from RHH. Breaking ball has improved, thrown with conviction, producing tighter rotation, and sharper break for strikes. Flat running action on changeup with avg. fade. 7.65 runner. Rolling hand rhythm, body load, looks to elevate, hard pull side contact, line drive and fly ball approach, would benefit from greater extension through contact, solid pop in bat, 83 mph exit velocity. Sure soft hands in field with above avg. arm at position, moves well in field, easier actions and is comfortable around the bag, 81 mph arm across infield.
4/29/18- 6-foot, 190-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. #66 ranked player in IA 2019 class. On mound; tempo to delivery, longer draw straight back in arm path, compact through release. Strike thrower with good feel for zone with fastball at 79-81 mph with varying action to plate. Breaking ball is 66-68 mph with 1/7 shape and lands for strikes. Changeup is 70-71 and is thrown near fastball arm speed with solid fade and sink. 7.12 runner. Tall athletic setup, easy leg kick trigger, lift in swing plane, stiffer finish through extension, pull approach with solid pop in bat, 83 mph exit velocity. Shows solid footwork and actions, sure hands, receives well around bag, 83 mph arm strength across infield.
3/18/18- 6-foot, 190-pound left-handed hitting pitcher. #66 ranked player in IA 2019 class. Rocker step into medium balance point, lands inline to catcher, short 2 piece arm action, with solid extension and finish to plate. Fastball was 78-80 mph with varying action to plate and solid control of zone. Breaking ball has 1/7 shape with solid depth and shape for strikes. Changeup is thrown near fastball arm speed with depth and fade to arm-side of plate.
7/31/17- 5-foot-10, 180-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. On mound; short turn into medium balance point, slight pie arm action, hides ball from hitter, with slight cross-fire delivery. Fastball was 78-80 mph with flashes of late cut action. Curveball has good tilt, thrown with 1/7 shape, inconsistent command left short of plate. Turns changeup over creating solid fade and sinking action. 4.88 runner. Tall stance, body load, short path through zone, lift in swing plane, pull approach, spray contact, 81 mph exit velocity. Soft hands in field, solid footwork, comfortable around bag, sound receiver at first, 78 mph arm across infield.
3/5/17- 5-foot-10, 180-pound left-handed hitting first baseman. 8.01 runner. Simple load, spin hitter, narrow base, pull approach, inconsistent contact at this event, 79 mph exit velocity. Sound glove, avg. around bag, accurate arm, 77 mph arm strength across diamond. On mound; short ¾ arm slot, uses front side in delivery, occasionally upright on release. Fastball was 78-80 mph with long finish out front. Changeup was best secondary; thrown at fastball arm speed for strikes. Inconsistent shape and spin on breaking ball.
