The shorter, stocky catcher of Marion really stood out behind the plate on the weekend. Coming off a great summer season, he continued swinging a hot bat while lacing multiple XBH’s from gap to gap. Gives a lot of energy behind the plate and is a vocal leader. Received up 80’s velocity well. 2.05 pop in between innings. Follow 2023 prospect.

Stocky with present strength. Simple compact swing with some power. Took good at bats and hit balls hard to the pull side. Behind the plate he moved well side to side and kept the ball in front while blocking. Between innings pop times ranged from 2:12-2:17 with accuracy. Interesting follow in the ‘23 class.
