6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.24 runner. Upright stance, leg kick trigger, some stiffness in legs, avg. timing to swing, occasional hard contact to pull side of field, 90 mph exit velocity. Present strength to receive, solid blocker, quick exchange, slight one piece arm action, avg. accuracy to bag, 79 mph arm strength with 1.98-2.03 pop times. On mound; short balance point, compact arm action, cuts across body with short finish. Fastball was 81-83 mph with varying action to plate. Occasional late break on slider with 10/4 shape. Arm side run with good deception on changeup.
3/11/18- 6-foot-2, 172-pound right-handed hitting catcher. 7.33 runner. Open stance, leg kick trigger, some drift in hands, line drive and ground balls off bat, mid/pull approach with flashes of hard pull side contact, 82 mph exit velocity. Quiet actions behind plate, long release on throws, uphill, slight crow hop in footwork, avg. receiver, decent athlete, raw mechanic and should continue to improve, 75 mph arm strength with 2.12-2.2 pop times.
