Cape Cod: Another grinder on a team full of them, Iowa’s Sam Petersen (2024) saw most of his action in left field. Plus running speed and sneaky power are his main physical tools. The 6-foot right-handed hitter was consistent on both sides of the ball, slashing .268/.398/.329 while playing strong defense. He saved his best for last, batting .379 with seven RBI in the postseason.

Good hands and feet, works through baseball well, shows ability to cover ground, stiffer one-piece arm action at times, solid carry and accuracy to base, 82 mph arm strength across infield.
