Positional Profile: RHP/C
Body: 5-9, 148-pounds.
Delivery: Stretch only. Sets with some space and a slightly closed stance. Glove starts in the middle of the chest, lifts with the leg, then breaks down and away. Still finds his line and keeps the head, body, and glove moving toward home. Shows a good gather, decent lower half use, and finishes his throws with balance.
Arm Action: RH. Three quarter slot with some quickness. Arm works clean through release with healthy deceleration.
FB: T79, 77-78 mph. Fastball plays fairly true with slight arm side run. T2043, 1932 average rpm.
SL: 62-64 mph. Slider shows sweepy action with some depth. T1866, 1839 average rpm.
CH: 68-71 mph. Changeup shows modest fade with shallow depth. T1579, 1529 average rpm.
SPLT: 62-65 mph.
ATH: 8.12 runner in the 60. 1.87 and 4.41 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 18.10 max vertical.
Positional Profile: RHP/C
Body: 5-9, 148-pounds.
Hit: LHH. Slightly open stance that strides back to even. Hands start back near the rear shoulder in a decent launch position, allowing him to get ready to swing early. Shows limited use of the lower half and does not always hold balance in the box, though posture is generally maintained through the move to contact. Uphill bat path with intent to lift and impact the baseball. When timed correctly, the barrel can work through contact, but the lack of lower half involvement puts pressure on the upper body to create the swing. Improving balance and learning to better engage the lower half would help stabilize the swing and improve barrel consistency without changing the overall intent. 56.2 mph bat speed with 5 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 80.2 mph. 281' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-69 mph. Arm shows some life but plays with minimal carry and noticeable arm side run. Shorter arm action with a slinging finish. When timing and direction are right, throws stay competitive, but quicker foot engagement and a more direct transfer would allow the arm to play more consistently.
Defense: 1.94-2.38 pop times. Works from a two feet stance with a wide base. Tends to wait until after the catch to get the feet moving, which slows the overall sequence. Catches the ball out in front and brings it back to the ear, creating a longer transfer time. Body control is solid, but tightening the footwork and transfer would help improve efficiency.
ATH: 8.12 runner in the 60. 1.87 and 4.41 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 18.10 max vertical.
