7/24/18: 2021 catcher hits from the right side. Uses tall slightly open setup in the box. Middle of the field approach in BP. Weight stays on back side throughout swing. Bat path is slightly up hill through the zone. Posted an exit velo of 79. Behind the dish showed quick exchange and gained ground on pops. Pops ranged from 2.11-2.18
9/24/17: 5-foot-11, 145 pound infielder plays with above average hands and clean exchange. Moves through the ball well. Flat, fluid footwork. Throws were accurate topping at 76. Behind the plate, he has a high setup with heavy feet. Long transfer into 3/4 arm slot. Pop times ranged between 2.07-2.15. On the mound, he has a short arm action with some rhythm down the mound. Average balance and mound presence. Stays in direction, lands squared. Breaking ball has 10/4 shape but has a tendency to hang. Slows arm on the change-up. Fastball sat 68-70, touching 73mph.
