Strong, athletic build. RHP/shortstop for Indiana Nitro. Started on the mound against Great Lakes on Friday morning. Fastball topped at 78 mph, sat between 75-77 mph and flashed arm side run. Changeup was thrown near fastball arm speed and played at 68-70 mph. Curveball was used sparingly, thrown at 65 mph, 11/5 shape. Started at shortstop against NEO baseball on Saturday morning. At the plate, balanced setup, smooth load, leg kick, short stride. Quick and simple swing, hands stay back in a strong hitting position, doesn’t try and do too much. Went 2-for-3 at the plate with a hustle double and an RBI. Impressive defensively at shortstop. Natural defensive actions, smooth hands, strong arm, able to make plays to both sides, plays athletically in the field.
9/30/18: 2022 MIF/RHP smaller frame at 5’8 120. Hits from the right side, uses leg kick as trigger, swing is slightly up hill, showed decent approach. Good hands in the middle infield with soft actions. Topped at 76 across the diamond
