Physical 6-foot-4, 220-pound frame with strength present and more to come. Left-handed hitter that starts taller in the box and works uphill with intent – shows power potential (89 mph max EV / 278’ peak) and bat strength that could translate into middle-of-the-order thump as he continues to refine the swing. Defensively, arm strength (72 mph) fits the corner infield profile, projecting best at first base. Athletically, a 7.79 runner with size and strength that will always be his calling card. Profiles as a power bat from the left side with the physicality to grow into a run-producing corner infielder.

Kurtz was another freshman that showed well, bringing a big, to-be physical, 6-foot-4, 195 pound frame. His best work was done in the left-handed batters' box, where he gets the front foot down early before using a rotational, handsy swing. There is some whip to the barrel with exits reaching 90-plus and power potential as the frame matures further.
