Showcased quick hands, barreled up the baseball during BP. Long, uphill swing plane, gap type power. Registered a high exit velocity of 87 mph. Lower half needs refined. Defensively from the OF, long-high ¾ arm action, throws topped out at 82 mph. Showcased average hands, clean exchange. Footwork is heavy/flat feet. Ran a 7.39 in the laser-timed 60 yard dash.
3/14/15: As a 7th grader, Brady has above average bat speed. He has an uphill path and hit line drives throughout batting practice. Brady’s exit velo was 83mph. His stride can get long and hands tend to drop during load. Defensively, arm strength is his best feature. His hands will need to soften over time. He plays through the ball well in the OF. At 1B, he works the bag well and made accurate throws. Brady ran a 7.97 yd 60 dash.
