2/26/17: The 5-foot-10, 180 pound catcher has above average balance with long stride as hands load back. Two-part swing. Slightly uphill path with above average bat speed. Partial usage of lower half. Exit velocity topped at 85. Behind the plate, actions are quick but raw. Will need some refinement with footwork. Arm action is quick, strong. Throws topped at 74mph, getting pop times between 2.00-2.15.
2/21/16: 5-foot-10, 175 pounder was 2.23, 2.27 and 2.38 with his pop times; 70 from the crouch. Transfers out in front of his body, falls off to his left. Needs to quicken up the arm action and improve footwork. Balanced setup. Receives well with soft hands. At the plate hits from and open setup, loads back. Long stride. Average use of his lower half. Average bat speed, uphill swing plane. Pull side hitter. High exit velocity of 83 mph.
