Lifts the bat head up when beginning his load to get into launch position. Uses a leg-lift timing trigger, shorter stride out front. Gets the barrel quickly through the zone, shorter swing path. Crushed a 3-run homer well over the right-center-field wall in the first inning of Game 1 against rival Lebanon. Hit another homer in Game 2.

Showed a side slot. Recorded a time of 7.62 in the 60-yard dash.
