Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Body: 5-11, 197-pounds. Proportional frame throughout, stronger look. Athletic.
Delivery: Slower mover down the mound but the body works and carries more athleticism than he looks. High hands and decent hips that can work down the mound. Blocks front leg well and gets over his front side.
Arm Action: RH. Short arm action that stays compact with minimal external rotation. Could get additional layback in external rotation with allowing the body to work, while keeping the arm back that could help with velo jump.
FB: T85, 81-84 mph. FB lacks true shape as it showed inconsistancy in terms of horizontal and vertical plane. Worked well to the upper part of the strikezone as it carries decent hop with ride. Needs to get ahead with pitch more often to allow him to work higher in the zone against hitters. T2243, 2091 average rpm.
CB: 67-70 mph. CB is the better of his off-speed offerings. Shows 12/6 plane with high release and tight spin. Effective strike-out pitch when located on the plate with solid vertical depth. T2180, 2099 average rpm.
SL: 73-77 mph. SL spin and shape is inconsistant and lacks true feel for release point and pronation of pitch. Lacks horizontal movement and more of a rifle type spin shape. May look to stratch and work primarily on CB. T2257, 2189 average rpm.
ATH: 7.98 runner in the 60. 1.89 and 4.39 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 23.50 max vertical.
