2/16/2019: Cooper Miles, SS/2B, Noblesville HS, 2020, 6 foot, 170 pounds, hits with a controlled load and balance throughout the swing and barrels balls consistently. Posted an exit velocity of 91 mph and ran a 7.14 60 yard dash.
6/5/18: IU commit showed an athletic tool set at the event. Hits from right side athletic crouched set up. Bat path was short and compact through the zone with extension out in front. Fluid rhythm with the ability to drive the baseball to every part of the field. In the field showed soft hands good actions with a quick clean exchange across the diamond. Arm looks to be slightly above average which will increase with added strength.
6/13/17: 5-foot-11, 155 pound INF has a balanced setup with simple load and quick barrel. Good box presence, line drive approach. Present gap to gap power, plenty to add as he matures. Defensively, hands are soft with quick release. Showed ability to work through baseball and make throws from different slots. Throws topped at 80 across infield. Miles ran a 7.36 laser-timed 60 yard dash. Recently committed to Indiana.
2/25/17: 5-foot-11, 155 pound infielder displays above average hands with a quick/clean transfer and strong arm across the infield. Throws topped at 80mph with accuracy. Athletic frame with excellent feel for the SS position for his age. Plays through the ball with athleticism. Hits from a balanced setup using a long stride. Good rhythm in the box. Bat speed is above average with a level path. Lower half is used well. Line drive approach with several swings drawing loud contact during his BP round.
