9/10/17: 60 Time: 8.14, Position Velocity: INF-69, Exit Velocity: 73. 5-foot-9, 155 pound freshman middle infielder works with short stroke from the right side, producing low line drives gap to gap. Leg lift and crunch to load, no stride or separation, hands work away from shoulder before entering zone. Front foot lands closed, spinning to hit. Head stays good position through contact and extension, short bat path out of the hitting zone. Works uphill in the middle infield with big glove side, high OT arm action across the diamond with below average arm strength. Footwork heavy, more lateral range and agility to be developed. More arm strength and lower body quickness to be developed. On the mound, uses regular effort with simple, repeatable delivery down the mound, good direction with big leg lift and stride. Undersized, long arm swing with high, OT arm action, tall and upright finish. Fastball was 71-73, straight and around the zone for strikes. Curveball had slow, gradual break at 61-62. Changeup was thrown with near fastball arm speed, 65-68, straight and arm side.
