2/9/2019: Dryden Schroeder, C/2B, Carmel HS, 2020, 6 foot 2, 175 pounds, stands tall and uses a toe tap to load at the plate, then has a big forward move to separate hands and stride foot. Barrel is flat at launch position. Looks athletic in the box and recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. Dryden recorded pop times of 2.02-2.08 with a longer arm action. If he can strength to his frame and shorten his arm action, his pop times have a chance to be much better in the future. Has a good catching frame to fill out, will be one to follow.
