6-foot-1, 210-Pound solid frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 88 mph. Started in a balanced stance, had a smooth load and used a short stride right before his swing. Displayed above average bat speed, as well as a flat swing path and a level finish. His best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 72 mph; had sure hands, a clean exchange and consistent footwork. While catching, he recorded pop times of 2.15-2.27. Used a short arm action with a ¾ slot.
9/30/18: 2021 C with solid 6’1 185 lb frame. Hits from the right side, uses slight bat tilt above head as timing trigger. Average hands through the zone. Shows mostly level bat path with slight tilt at extension. Shows balance throughout. Decent receiver with below average foot work behind the dish. Regressed on throw downs. Showed range of 2.15-2.25 pop time
