Hit: Starts in a crouched stance with a tight load, then uses a toe tap just before his swing. Electric bat speed. Good extension on his finish, upward swing.
Power: 94 mph exit velocity. gap to gap approach.
Defense: Outfield, Sure hands, smooth footwork, fluid exchange. Smooth.
Arm: 86 Outfield velocity. Quick arm action, an-over-the-top slot.

Pitching: Feel delivery, easy effort. Over-the-top arm angle, consistent arm speed, long arm action. Tall balance point, even shoulders, lands soft, a clean finish.

1/6/2019: Ethan Murphy, OF/RHP, Saint Xavier HS (KY), 2021, 6 foot 1, 200 pounds, From a slightly open stance, Ethan recorded an exit velo of 89 by using his strong lower half at the plate. Has good bat speed and rhythm at the plate, but does carry his hands forward a little from load to launch. Showed solid outfield actions and recorded an outfield velo of 83 and also ran 7.77 60 yard dash. On the mound Ethan throws out of a mid ¾ slot, with med/long arm action. Showed a max fastball of 80, CB was 10-4 action at 68-70, and CH was 71-73 with some arm side fade.
