5/6/18:6-foot strong build framed righty. Went CG shutout on 13 Ks, 2 H, 0 BB. Pitches from high 3/4 slot. Slow tempo delivery with stab action in arm stroke. Opened up the game 84-86 T87 in the 1st. Sat more 83-85 through 5 innings and reached back for 86 when he needed. Velo dropped in the last 2 innings of work and was at 81-83. FB showed arm side run with some sink action. Breaking ball showed plus potential at 76-79 with hard late action. CB showed two different shapes over his outing. One was more 12/6 or 11/5 shape with good action. When he got around the CB it had more life of a slider. Tended to speed up delivery when throwing CB. Command of both FB and CB were good.

Breaking ball has late depth, potential plus out pitch at 77-78. Tilt to topple delivery with short arm swing into high 3/4 slot. Some stiffness in the arm. Good balance. Lands squared, in line. Uphill shoulders, above average tempo down the mound.
