Henry Close is a 2028 LHP/OF with a lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 150-pound frame and a unique delivery that adds deception. On the mound, Close works with an overhead pump into a linear move down the slope, syncing well. His loose arm works from a ¾ slot after hiding the ball behind his body, allowing his fastball to play with some run at 75–77 mph (T77, 2298 rpm). He spins a 69–70 mph sweeping slider with feel, and shows a 70–72 mph changeup with fading action. Offensively, the left-handed hitter hits from an even stance with an upward hand load into a direct, downhill path that flashes whip. He posted an 85 mph max exit velocity and showed consistent feel for the barrel. A 7.39 runner with a 74 mph arm from the outfield
