LaFever

6-19-13 LaFever is a  MIF/RHP. Up the middle LaFever plays with choppy feet and a quick release with above avg arm strength for his age. As his footwork gets better LaFever has the ability to stay up the middle. LaFever ran a 7.2. At the plate LaFever barrells the baseball a lot with a clean balanced swing and a good two handed finish. The swing works uphill slightly. LaFever shows good bat speed (83 exit velo) and is a follow in the 2016 class. 

On the mound, LaFever uses more of a drop and drive type delivery. Mechanically it is not refined but the arm is quick topping out at 79. Off speed will need to be developed more to be effective at the next level.
