’25 RHP Jay Nuber (SB St. Joseph) was the best arm in attendance and filled the zone with three pitches in his bullpen. The athletic, 5-foot-10 185 pound right-hander utilized a simple, stretch only delivery, lifting to a moderate balance point, before a repeatable, athletic move down the slope. The arm works quick to a ¾ arm slot. The uncommitted senior showed an above average fastball at 84-86 mph (up to 89 previously), the heater flashed ride/run with a max IVB of 16.6” and 16.5” of HZM. The righty spun a short, tight slider at 78-80 mph (2400+ rpm’s). The changeup, Nuber’s best pitch, thrown with fastball arm speed, averaged 20.2” of horizonal movement at 80-82 mph.
