Prep Baseball All-American Game: Lee will work out of a slightly narrow, open base with long limbs in a 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame. Hands work short to long with strength in the wrists and present above-average bat speed. Ability to adjust pre-pitch gives the Notre Dame commit the get the barrel on-plane for an up-the-middle approach. Currently gap-to-gap power for Lee but there’s a chance for above-average raw power as he holds significant projection remaining in the frame. A 6.9 runner, but plays much faster in-game with high baseball IQ and long strides that allow Lee to cover a tremendous amount of ground without having an elite first step. Likely ticketed for corner outfield at the next level, but Lee will be given every opportunity in center with advanced positioning and route running.
The uber-projectable, 6-foot-3, 175 pound outfielder possesses a rare combination of speed and power that projects to hit in the middle of the order at the next level. A right-handed hitter, Lee produces easy bat speed and possesses present pull-side power. Also a graceful defender, his 93 mph arm is a future plus-tool that could allow him to blossom into an advanced corner outfielder. At the PBR Futures Game, Lee also hopped on the mound and ran his fastball up to 89 mph with easy effort. Lee committed to Notre Dame shortly after the PBR Future Games.
