One of my favorite in-game hitters in the class in early evaluations. Stands at 5-foot-11, 150-pounds with a wiry athletic look. Works off a posted back leg with rhythmic hand moves that he times well. Works behind & to the inside part of the ball and uses the whole field. Exits up to 88.3. 6.97 runner with above average arm. Profiles as a top-of-the-order type bat with a chance to be a plus runner when its' all said and done. High follow.
High-motor, L/L OF that fits a CF/tablesetters' profile. Very, very strong bat-to-ball with proper swing decisions shown over the course of several looks. Some quirk to the left-handed stroke, but I value the ability to put bat on ball here and his sub-7 60 times make a CF projection safe. The swing will likely clean up with strength, especially the front side, but he uses the whole field and did impact it for 88-plus exit velos on the top-end, a solid number for the age. Strong follow from a Jasper program that really fits his playing style.
Lean 5-foot-10, 135-pound frame with an immature build for now, but noticeable twitch that stands out at a young age. Left-handed hitter with a twitchy stroke that matches plane well, already producing exit velocities into the mid-80s. Athletic defender in the outfield with a 75 mph arm from the left side. Also shows intrigue on the mound with a clean operation that pairs with athleticism. Posted a 6.97 60 with explosive acceleration (1.67 / 3.87 splits).
Kluesner shows the look of a prospect who could take off as strength arrives — the twitch, athleticism, and left-handed bat all stand out. With added physicality, he has a chance to develop into one of the more dynamic athletes in the class.
