Medium build with stocky strong strength. Has a slightly open stance start. Occasional toe tap keeps his balance and hands loaded behind ball and allows his bat speed to work out front. Small bat wave start at top and slight hitch to a buggy whip barrel to ball and impact. LD hitting approach. Showed very good bat speed. Good arm and range displayed on defense. Devenport ran a 6.89 60-yard dash. Displayed good overall athleticism actions and instincts for game. Good tools and chance to hit.

Hit: Started in an athletic open stance with a controlled smooth load, then used a toe tap to start his swing. Explosive bat speed. Level finish, flat swing.

Defense: Outfield, Sure hands, quick footwork. Movements laterally were athletic.
Arm: 84 Outfield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot.

Pitching: Feel delivery, some effort. High ¾ arm angle, short arm action. In line shoulders, lands square.

Franklin High School, Class of 2022; 5-foot-9, 150-pound OF/SS. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 77 mph. He has a tall, open stance and a smooth load; uses a leg kick. He showed quick hands, a line drive swing plane and a high, one-handed finish. In the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 80 mph. He moves through the ball well in the outfield and uses his legs to generate power. Throws from a ¾ arm slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.58.
