Maddux Lugar is a 2027 SS from Greenfield-Central with a sturdy 5-foot-11, 190-pound frame and a strong, handsy offensive profile. The right-handed hitter starts from an even stance with a short lift and quick hand turn, delivering a whippy barrel that stays on plane. He generates solid bat speed and posted a 93 mph max exit velocity, flashing the ability to drive the baseball with intent. Defensively, Lugar shows efficient footwork and an above-average 82 mph arm across the diamond that works clean, although foot quickness remains a development area.
