Had sure hands and made accurate throws from a side slot. He clocked a time of 7.40 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, he had a short arm action and showed good accuracy when he stayed on top. His curveball showed action and popped out of his hand and his lower half worked well. His fastball was consistently 74-77 mph and topped out at 77 mph. He showed the ability to locate his curveball for a strike at 60-63 mph. His changeup regularly came in at velocities of 66-67 mph. In the game, hitters were fooled by his off-speed when he located arm side.
