2/16/2019: Max Meyer, OF/RHP, Floyd Central HS, 2020, 6 foot 1, 160 pounds, ran a7.34 60 yard dash, threw 91 mph from the outfield, and had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Showed projectable athleticism, swing got a little downhill at times at this event. Still excited to see when frame fills out.
1/6/2019: Max Meyer, OF/RHP, Floyd Central HS, 2020, 6 foot 1, 160 pounds, From a narrow, open set up, Max creates good rhythm and separation with a solid forward move at the plate. Max recorded an exit velo of 88, with plenty of room to add strength on his frame. Max also ran a 7.41. Max also showed very good outfield actions and a fast arm producing an outfield velo of 91. On the mound, Max show a FB ranging 81-84, with a medium arm action from a high ¾ slot. Max, also showed good depth on a CB at 68-70, as well as good depth on a CH at 72-75. Will be a good follow in the 2020 class as he continues to get stronger.
