Griese stood out on our fall circuit last fall and showed well in all facets at this event. It is a lean, athletic, 6-foot, 165-pound frame that is packed with quick twitch. His 6.91 60-yard dash showed that the feet are an above average tool, and the feet were also the carrying tool for him on the infield. Defensively, the quick-footed middle showed athletic actions with some glove-to-hand feel to pair. In the box, the right-handed hitter showed the same twitch in an upward path that produced a rounded peak exit of 90 mph. The swing works with some gap-to-gap feel, and there is room for refinement that could unlock more impact moving forward. Griese profiles up the middle defensively due to the athletic nature and leaves this event as a good follow for our 2028 class.
