4/28/13 Game Notes: Listed at 6-foot-3 on the Indiana Outlaws site. I would guess more 6ft to 6-foot-1. The lefty possesses a quick athletic arm with some rawness in his delivery that suggest he will throw harder. He has a long arm circle with a wrap. The lefty topped out at 86 and pitched 82-83 most of the night. The breaking ball for Whitehead is the separator. Whitehead shows depth, with hard rotation on his 74-77 breaking ball with good shape. It is easy to predict Whitehead as an 86-87 lefty this summer with a plus breaking ball making him a very interesting prospect in the 2014 class.
