Right-handed hitter with a raw swing – short, handsy operation that stays on top of the baseball. Contact-oriented approach now with a “put it in play and run” profile, but flashes real bat strength (95 mph max EV) that hints at untapped power as the swing refines. Defensively, projects comfortably in centerfield with long strides, easy range, and an arm that plays at 78 mph from the OF. Athletically, one of the better runners in the class (6.58 60) – speed plays plus in the field and on the bases.

The right-handed hitter sets up in a wide stance with a raw, minimalist swing and handsy barrel delivery that flashes ability to get on-plane—though there’s clear room for refinement (94 max EV, 305’ distance). A 6.66 runner with a 26.3” vertical, McKinney is an athletic mover in the outfield with above average arm strength (85 mph) and physical tools that offer plenty of projection.
