Schultz is a 5-foot-11, 150-pound backstop with a balanced setup and a short, handsy right-handed swing geared toward contact. He flashed an 85 mph max exit velocity with a 274’ peak distance. Behind the dish, Schultz posted pop times in the 2.20–2.40 range with a lengthy exchange and a below-average, over-the-top 67 mph arm. Athleticism shows in flashes (7.50 60-yard, 20.7” vertical), and added strength will aid both offensive and defensive development.
