Showed some of the most polished defensive actions of any at this event and was the best infield defender in the class in my early evals. Clear advanced feet with abv avg hands and glove-to-hand feel. Above average arm that he gets into quickly; is playable. Offensively, hits from the left-side with short/controlled stride and a line drive-oriented swing. Rotates well; lacks present bat speed. Lacks strength in his 6-foot, 150-pound frame. Chance for all tools to elevate drastically when strength arrives. Reminds me of Clay Dungan. High follow

Lean, immature 5-foot-10, 130-pound frame with plenty of physical growth ahead. Silky defender with advanced instincts and body control that allow him to play a polished brand of shortstop at a young age. Smooth glove-to-hand exchanges and soft actions project him to stick on the dirt long-term. Right-handed arm works clean across the diamond at 71 mph, with more strength on the way as the frame develops. At the plate, swings it from the left side with a sweet stroke and natural rhythm. Bat-to-ball skills stand out, and added strength will allow the offensive profile to take a big jump. Athletically, clocked at 7.73 in the 60, but shows quick first-step bursts (1.75 10-yard) that help the glove play ahead of the footspeed. High-upside infield defender with a left-handed bat that should continue to trend up as the body matures.
