Max Thompson, a 2028 2B/RHP from Bloomington High School South (IN), is a super lean, developing athlete at 5-foot-10, 148 pounds. Offensively, he shows raw actions with a basic right-handed swing that produces a 75 mph max exit velocity and 236’ peak distance. Defensively, while strength and quickness need to come, his hands are his best attribute, showing some feel through the catch with a 68 mph arm. On the mound, Thompson is still finding consistency, sitting 70–72 mph (T73) with his fastball and spinning a 55–58 mph curveball with some shape. Will need added physicality to take next steps.
