’25 INF Shawn Nowacki (Mishawaka) was another solid watch, showing the best bat speed of the day during batting practice. The athletic, 5-foot-11, 170 pound infielder hits out of a balanced stance with a controlled forward move, turning the barrel tight on a slightly uphill path with some whip in the barrel. Nowacki took aggressive hacks, looking to lift the ball to the pull-side. The Mishawaka senior's best ball came off the bat at 93.1 mph, averaging 84.1 mph as he showed some pull-side strength. An above average runner (7.13), Nowacki showed fundamental actions on the dirt, confident hands with consistent feet. The arm works shorter with average arm strength across.
