A compact, strong 5-foot-8, 170-pound frame with present athleticism. The right-handed hitter sets up in a balanced stance with some rhythm in his hands. Initiates swing with a body and small knee-knock before a short stride. Level bat path through the zone with quick, loose hands. Consistent hard-line drives and bat speed during BP, flashing pop in his bat to the pull side. Above average 92 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 6.85 60-yard dash. The primary middle infielder shows quick active footwork, working around the ball to field. Sure hands with range, throwing from a long ¾ arm action with accuracy at 85 mph.
Martin is a 5-foot-8 165-pound right-handed hitting infielder in Kanas’ 2021 class. He ran a 7.08 60 and a 4.52 home to first. He had a 91 mph exit velocity.
