An athletic, broad shouldered 6-foot-0, 175-pound frame. The right-handed hitter sets up with a slightly open, balanced stance with his hands set near his chest. Small leg lift and hand load into his stride with some extension through his finish. Recorded 77 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder shows adequate hands and footwork to field with accurate throws at 73 mph.
6/19/18 - Hoffman has a 5-foot-9, 150-pound athletic frame and is a right-handed hitting infielder in Kansas’ 2022 class. He ran a 4.75 home-to-first and posted an 83 mph exit velocity. During hitting evaluations, Hoffman starts with a slightly open stance, knee-to-knee load and a high finish with his hands. Defensively, Hoffman shows a high ¾ slot, clean transfers, momentum towards the target, very accurate throws and a positional velo of 63 mph.
