7/12/16 - Stewart is a 6-foot-3 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2017 class. He ran a 7.20 60 and a 4.45 home-to-first. He has a 75 mph exit velo. At the plate, tall and thin stance in base, controlled leg lift to stride, bat accelerates, gap-to-gap approach. In the outfield, over the top release, works behind the ball, momentum through the catch, fluid footwork working with transfer, 78 mph positional velo. On the infield, 72 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, fluid footwork, clean glove-to-hand transfer, plays through the ball, accurate throws.
6/2/15 - Braden is a 6'3 160-pound switch hitting short stop from Nickerson. Was aggressive in attacking the ball during defensive evaluations, fielded the ball cleanly with good footwork and made good strong throws across the infield. Is tall at the plate keeping his hands inside with a small leg kick and shows quick swing through the hitting zone.
