7/11/17 - Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 5 in the Kansas Class of 2018 and No. 400 in the PBR Overalls. 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed pitcher with a lanky, athletic frame. Works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long, loose arm action. Works exclusively out of the stretch, tall and fall delivery with regular effort. Fastball has sinking action at 87-88 topping out at 89 mph. Slider has slurve action at 77-78 mph. Also threw a curveball with more depth at 72 mph.

6/27/17 - Mall is an athletic RHP in Kansas’ 2018 class. Mall’s delivery is smooth, repeatable and accelerates down the mound through his release. He throws from a high three quarters arm slot, with a quick, loose arm that projects. Malls heavy fastball was tough on hitters, showed run to his arm side and was between 86-88 mph, topped at 89 mph, the highest velo at the event. His changeup showed sink and run to his arm side at 79-80 mph. Mall’s slider was sharp with slurve type spin at times and mostly 11-to-5 action. Malls slender build, ability to repeat his delivery, heavy fastball and potentially wipe out slider make in an attractive prospect in Kansas’ 2018 class.

8/4/16 - The right-hander features long arms and legs and a quick, loose arm. Once he begins to fill into his 6-foot-1 frame, he should see his 84-86 mph fastball continue to climb.

5/31/16 - Mall is a 6-foot-1 165-pound right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2018 class.  Mall repeats his delivery, throws strikes, loose arm action, projects to add strength and velo with athletic frame and wide shoulders, fastball at 81-84 mph, one of the top velos for the event, late life, breaking ball at 68-70 mph, fastball arm speed, late 11-to-5 action, attacks hitters, good inning of work.

2/20/16 - Mall is a 6-foot-1 164-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2018 class from Shawnee Mission East HS. Mall ran a 4.40 home-to-first and has an exit velo of 80 mph.  At the plate, thin stance, short stride, smooth rhythm, gap-to-gap approach. In the outfield, 83 mph positional velo, one of the top outfield velos for the event, loose over the top arm action, plays behind the ball and through the catch, fluid footwork with clean exchange. On the mound, over the top release, smooth tempo, controlled leg lift, inline stride, arm accelerates as he gets down the mound, athletic finish, thows with regurlar effort, fastball at 75-80 mph, curveball has 11-to-5 shape 63-68 mph, change up down in zone at 69-72 mph.
