Jack Cornell: C/RHP, (2025) Olathe East, KS. 5-foot-9, 150-pound slim frame. In the box, Cornell had a max exit velocity of 68 mph. Started in a crouched stance with a small load, then used a leg kick to initiate his swing. Bat speed is above average, shows rotational swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels during his rounds. Pull side approach. While catching, consistently had pop times of 2.09-2.15, his best recorded throw to second was clocked at 67 mph; shows firm hands, a lengthy exchange and developing feet. Narrow setup with some flexibility. Showed a short arm action and an-over-the-top slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.2. Solid on the mound, showed an over-the-top arm angle and a long arm action with consistent arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Displays even shoulders with tall balance point. Lands soft with a clean finish. Threw his fastball 71-73 mph; has control and keeps its plane. Throws a 12/6 curveball (57-58) with rolling action. Changeup sits (63-64) has some action.
