At 6-foot-1, 225-pounds, C Jackson Lucht (Mill Valley, 2026) is as strong and physical as they come. Lucht put together a loud BP round using a strong right-handed swing with natural lift and 70.8 mph of average bat speed to create an average of 257 feet per batted ball - top at the event. Lucht squared his firmest ball up at 91.9 mph, sending it 328 feet.

Quick right-handed stroke with hand strength, juiced some balls that sounded different off his barrel, gap-to-gap approach. Athletic mover given size and age profile. Another follow name in Kansas that’s set to start his high school career shortly.

Hit: RHH. Balanced, slight crouched stance. Vertical bat angle. Quick toe-tap and hand load back. Utilizes lower half. Upright finish. Slight uphill swing plane. Gets some rotational speed through contact. Quick through the zone, looking to elevate the ball. Some extension. Fly ball and line-drive contact to his mid/pull side.
Power: 83.6 max exit velocity, averaged 72.9 mph. 225’ max distance. Strength in barrel and lower half.
Arm: RH. C - 71 mph. OF - 80 mph. Short high-3/4 arm action with accurate throws to the bag.
Defense: Behind the plate, shows good flexibility working from one knee. Developing glove and release with average footwork through his throws. In the outfield, uses short choppy footwork to gather himself before a big crow hop and follow through. Glove works on the side of his body.
