Ran 7.01 in the 60. On the mound, over the top release, short arm action, repeatable balance point, consistent rhythm, level shoulders, remains in line, athletic finish. Fast ball sat between 77-79 mph touching 80. Curveball ranged between 66-69 mph, 11/5 shape, late action, put away pitch. Changeup thrown at 70-mph, similar arm action, lower quadrants of zone.

6/19/18 - Weedman is a 5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2020 class. He ran a 7.14 60, 4.88 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 85 mph. During batting practice, Weedman showed a violent swing with good bat speed, hard contact, a knee pinch load and extension through the baseball. Defensively in the outfield, Weedman is aggressive to the baseball, over the top arm slot, clean transfers, momentum to target, positional velo of 79 mph and fairly accurate throws.
