OF Maxton Meade (Spring Hill, 2026) emerged as one of the biggest winners of the day from Sunday’s event. Packed with athleticism and projectability in a lean, 5-foot-11, 157-frame, Meade flashed loud tools in every facet of the game in his Prep Baseball debut. At the plate, the righty swung a strong right-handed barrel with easy bat speed that has shown the ability to play in game across several looks this summer and fall. Still developing power as he continues to add size and strength, Meade squared his best ball up at 96.1 mph - a top five mark on the day. The junior also posted the fastest 60 time of the day with a 6.69 mark and reached 80 mph on his firmest throw from the outfield. Meade will be a name to keep an eye on in the Kansas 2026 class.
