8/5/15 - Davis is a 5-foot-9 150-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher.  Davis ran a 7.15 60 and had an exit velo of 84 mph.  During batting practice, controlled load and leg lift, loose hands, middle approach, smooth rhythm, feel for the barrel, singled and showed plate discipline in game action. In the outfield, throws left, high three-quarters release, works behind ball, catches in position to throw, 76 mph positional velo, loose arm action, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Davis attacked hitters with first pitch strike, over-the-top release, repeats release point, throws three pitches for strike, fastball touched 78, worked 74-76 mph, curveball has 12-to-6 shape 64-68 mph, change-up at 72 mph slight sink, recorded two strikeouts and allowed one hit and a walk during game action.

2/21/15 - Davis is a 5-foot-9 145-pound OF from Kansas’ 2016 class. Bats right, throws left. In the outfield, over-the-top release, quick exchange and release, plays thru the ball, 75 mph positional velo. At the plate, starts in open stance, lands closed,  gap-to-gap approach, loose hands,  82 mph exit velo, gets down line in 4.52-seconds. On the mound, Davis is a strike thrower with an over-the-top release, body control in his delivery, smooth rhythm, throws with regular effort, 76-78 mph fastball, slight run, curveball has 12-to-6 shape, down in zone, 67-68 mph, change-up at 68-70 mph, fastball arm speed

2/16/15 - Davis is a class of 2016 left-handed pitcher and outfielder that attends Maize South HS in Maize, KS. 5-foot-9, 145-pound frame. Bats right, athletic set-up, strides closed, no load, keeps hands inside ball, loose hands, worked middle-oppo in batting practice round. Simple swing. 82 mph exit velocity, ran a 4.38 home-to-first. Quick, athletic footwork in the outfield, fielded ball cleanly, high three-quarters arm action, 78 mph throwing velocity. On the mound showed simple rocker step to knee lift, under control, tucks knee at balance, hides ball, high three-quarters slot, finishes square. Body control and repeats. Fastball runs and cuts, nothing straight, 76-77 mph. Breaking ball with 12/6 shape, 65-67 mph. Change-up with sinking action, 69-70 mph.
