At the plate, Jones incorporates a toe tap in his load, in-line stride and is well balanced throughout his swing. In the outfield, Jones had proper footwork, stayed behind the baseball, had a positional velo of 80 mph with mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Jones has a smooth delivery, works slightly across his body, uses an abbreviated leg lift with good direction towards his target. fastball was thrown for a high percentage of strikes between 77-80 mph and he showed good feel for his curveball, 62-67 mph with 12-to-6 action and late bite.
