6-foot-3, 194 pound RHP has been established as one of the top arms in the class for awhile, and he confirmed that with a stellar performance at the PBR Future Games vs a strong hitting Indiana team that went 4-0 at the event. Made a jump in velocity from earlier in the summer at 84-87 mph. Commands a big breaking 68-70 mph curveball he can throw for strikes on any count. Has present feel for changeup at 73-75 with sink and fade that provides good deception off fastball. A true three-pitch guy who projects to command. Myers baffled the Indiana team with two hitless innings and 4 K's while getting swing and miss on both the fastball and curveball. Registered the highest average FB spin rate of the Future games at 2512 and 7th highest average CB spin rate at 2377. Committed to Tennessee a few weeks after the event.
6-foot-3, 194 pound RHP has been established as one of the top arms in the class for awhile. Velocity has remained consistent over the past year at 83-86. Loose arm action through a high-3/4 to over the top slot. Fastball works downhill. Attacks the lower half of the zone and both sides of the plate. Curveball has always had good depth and has continued to get harder now at 67-69 mph. Has present feel for changeup at 73-75 with sink and fade that provides good deception off fastball. A true three-pitch guy who projects to command. Has gotten significant D1 interest to date.
