8/17/14 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitter posted a 4.75 home to first base time and 83 mph tee exit velocity.  Hits from a balances stance with a leg kick and medium stride, shorter swing path with extension through contact, line drive type hitter with the ability to use all fields, went 1-for-4 in game play with a single to left field.  Defensively, showed the best arm strength of the event at 88 mph, inconsistent on throwing accuracy to third base bag, plays through the ball with athletic actions.  On the mound uses long arm action through a ¾ to high ¾ arm slot, arm shows some quickness, fastball sat 82-83 mph touching 84 from the windup, 80-81 from the stretch, fastball shows late arm-side life, curveball has tight spin at 70-72 mph with sharp 11/5 action, throws 71 mph changeup with good arm action, allowed two hits, walked one, and struck out two in two innings of work, interesting prospect on the mound.
