6-foot, 175-pound RHH continues to show improvement at each event. Hits from a balanced stance, small load back with a short stride, produced a good round of BP with hard contact, bat speed continues to improve, shows occasional power, went 1-for-3 in game play with a single to left field. Showed his most arm strength and best pop times to date, quick transfer and release, footwork stays online to produce accurate throws to the bag. Burch is solid overall and continues to improve his game.

/6-foot, 175-pound RHH hits from a slightly open stance, big load back with a leg kick trigger, lower half movement leads to foot getting down late at times, shows ability to square the baseball when timing is in sync, went 1-for-3 in game play with a bloop single to RF. Showed a good jump in arm strength from previous event and significant improvement in pop times, quick transfer and release, made mostly accurate throws to the bag, showed solid receiving and blocking ability.

1/17/15 - 5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect, right-handed hitter hits from an open stance, slight leg kick trigger with a short stride, collapses some on back side, level swing path, line drive type hitter with gap to gap approach, average bat speed for age, 72 mph exit velocity, posted 5.73 home to first time.  Defensively, showed 67 mph arm strength from the crouch, 2.21-2.27 pop times, tends to come out of crouch early on throws to second base.
